Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - ER (Travel) in Aberdeen, Washington. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,142–$2,273 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED, including initial assessment, triage, continuous monitoring, and rapid stabilization of patients with varied acuity
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and analgesia per physician orders; manage IV access and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and evolving treatment plans; collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required)
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, pain management, and sedation/analgesia protocols; participate in care coordination and throughput
- Respond to emergencies and codes; support discharge planning and family communication as appropriate
Requirements
- Active Washington State RN license or valid multi-state license with Washington verifications, including Nursys demographics verification and approved 6-hour suicide training
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Emergency Department nursing experience; proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule; guaranteed hours and willingness to take on additional shifts as needed
- RTO (return-to-work) requests must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract with full scheduling availability
- Education: active RN license; graduation from an approved nursing program
