Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER) in Utica, NY. This travel assignment starts June 15, 2026 for 8 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 2x3-day shift in a hospital ER setting. The role emphasizes acute patient care, triage, and collaboration with an ED team using EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric ED patients, including rapid assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Perform triage, initial stabilization, medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care as indicated
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation, orders, and care coordination; maintain accurate records and adherence to ED protocols
- Respond to acute events (e.g., chest pain, stroke, trauma) and support timely interventions per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to ensure safe patient flow, discharge planning, and patient education
Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license; Nursys verification; all RN licenses current
- 2+ years of emergency department experience with some pediatric exposure
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- EPIC EMR experience; ability to document rapidly and accurately
- Ability to float to related ED areas as needed; strong critical thinking and communication skills
- RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission; local candidates eligible for local rate within 75 miles
