Travel Respiratory Therapist Job
Respiratory Therapist needed for a travel assignment in a rural, critical access setting in Willits, CA. Start date: 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,600–$1,643 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. This position supports multiple units across a rural health care community and requires cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies (oxygen, aerosols, bronchodilators, airway clearance) and monitor patient response
- Manage ventilators and airway support; perform airway clearance techniques; monitor patients per protocol
- Assess patient status across units and adjust therapy according to orders; interpret clinical data and ABG results
- Document care in the electronic health record; Cerner experience is required, Epic experience is a plus
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams; participate in discharge planning and patient education
Requirements
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- Cerner experience required; Epic experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to float between units in a rural health care setting; no on-call; every other weekend
- 12-hour shift availability for a 13-week travel assignment
