Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.
- Operate radiography equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies.
- Deliver clinical care efficiently with a high level of technical and organizational skill and critical thinking.
- Mentor, model, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
- Contribute to before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures to treat cardiac and vascular disorders and related conditions.
Requirements
- Active radiology license to practice (as required by the assignment and location)
- Certifications relevant to interventional radiology or cardiovascular procedures (as applicable per the job notes)
- Experience in cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures
- Ability to position patients, operate digital imaging equipment, and deliver direct clinical care in an interventional lab environment
