Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services under the supervising OT in a skilled care setting
- Implement treatment plans and assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and exercises to address functional goals
- Document patient progress clearly and maintain accurate records in the charting system
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy team, nursing staff, and rehab aides to coordinate care
- Ensure safety, infection control, and proper equipment use during therapy sessions
Requirements
- Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026
- Ability to work the 08:00–16:30 shift, 5 days per week
- Experience or comfort working in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
