Travel Registered Nurse Infusion Job
Registered Nurse – Infusion in Sitka, Alaska. This travel assignment starts 08/24/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. The role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $3,121 to $3,289 weekly. Shift is 5x8 days. You will work in an infusion services program within an inpatient care environment.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate infusion referrals and coordinate testing and treatment continuity; maintain and document information in the patient chart.
- Schedule infusion appointments; post test and exam results; communicate with referring providers and patients to complete the circle of care.
- Observe and report infusion patient conditions and reactions to drugs, treatments, immunizations, and procedures; document information in the chart.
- Oversee clinic staff to support optimal daily infusion care flow and appropriate use of resources; provide direction as needed.
- Administer specialty IV fluids via peripheral or central lines; maintain IV access devices per INS/ONS and facility guidelines; manage medications as ordered.
- Prepare patients for infusion, educate patients and families about post-discharge care, participate in care plan meetings, and uphold a safe, therapeutic care environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Alaska or another U.S. state; Direct Hire must have Alaska license before start date; Agency staff must hold an active Alaska license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; infusion experience preferred.
- Education: graduation from an approved RN program; eligibility/licensure requirements to obtain Alaska RN license.
- Must complete expected onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting/background checks as part of SEARHC processing.
- Physical ability to perform duties (lifting up to 50 lbs; standing, walking, and able to handle equipment in a clinical setting).
