Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: May 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,485 to $2,558. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy and GI procedures
- Observe and document patient vital signs; monitor telemetry as indicated
- Sedate patients as prescribed and support anesthesia recovery post-procedure
- Administer prescribed medications, including IV drips, and manage patient comfort
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies; ensure proper sterilization and sterile technique
- Assist physicians during procedures; document procedures, notes, and discharge instructions
- Perform GI procedure intake assessments and coordinate patient care through discharge
Requirements
- Current NY RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years endoscopy procedure experience
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification proficiency
- Conscious sedation experience
- Expert IV insertion skills
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
- Experience performing GI procedure intake
