Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings, and develop an appropriate care plan.
- Implement and coordinate interventions, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate duties as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare team to ensure a safe, healing environment; participate in discharge planning.
- Maintain documentation with accuracy; promote health, safety, and infection control; participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Active California RN license (unrestricted)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a high-acuity setting
- Ability to pass credentialing and onboarding requirements for a travel assignment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adhere to safety and infection control standards
