Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas. Start date May 24, 2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,988 – $2,141. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital with a Telemetry/Cardiac unit. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring the ability to float to other acute care units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients on a cardiac unit, including continuous monitoring and rapid response to rhythm changes.
- Interpret ECG/EKG rhythms, assess hemodynamic status, and administer prescribed medications and infusions in accordance with protocol.
- Manage post-procedure care, including TR Band assessment and basic hemodynamic support as directed by the physician.
- Document accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record, communicate changes in patient condition to the care team, and collaborate with physicians, unit charge nurses, and ancillary staff.
- Monitor for adverse events, implement fall and infection prevention strategies, and assist with discharge planning and patient education as appropriate.
- Float to other acute care units as needed to cover staffing requirements and maintain safe, quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Experience with post-procedure TR Band management and exposure to cardiac drug infusions (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem); initiation experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to float to other acute care units as required
- High level of clinical competency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care
