- Core responsibilities: conduct comprehensive OT evaluations, interpret findings, and design person-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, cognitive rehabilitation, perceptual-motor integration, and adaptive equipment recommendations. implement evidence-based interventions, including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, seating and positioning, splinting, and ADL/IADL training. set measurable goals, document progress in the EHR, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and facilitate discharge planning and home modification recommendations to support safe, independent living. provide patient and caregiver education to promote carryover in daily routines and community participation.
