Registered Nurse – ICU, travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,700–$1,807 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This role focuses on delivering ICU nursing care in a high-acuity, acute-care environment with a need for strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ICU patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond promptly to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary treatment team, and promote a safe and healing environment.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and support personnel, ensuring effective care delivery and appropriate workload distribution.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and provide learning opportunities for team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) and current.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS or ARC-ALS; PALS or ARC-PALS (per policy and role requirements).
- Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field; acute care facility experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to work in an ICU/acute care setting and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team during night shift.
