Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in a surgery center setting, located in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,192 to $2,263 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Flex. The role involves delivering direct nursing care to patients across all ages in a fast-paced emergency setting, coordinating with physicians and the broader care team, and ensuring safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the ER across all ages
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient condition, and respond to changes promptly
- Perform triage, prepare patients for procedures, and assist with emergent interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff; document care in the medical record
- Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Active RN license; license from any state acceptable
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NRP required within one year of hire; TNCC required within one year of hire; ENPC required within one year of hire
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) must be completed within six months of hire
- Emergency Severity Index Level 5 required within three months of hire; Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program (e.g., Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
- Experience: ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work the listed assignment setting and meet all credentialing requirements
