Travel Registered Nurse Dialysis Job
Registered Nurse – Dialysis travel assignment in the Burlington, VT area. Start date: 06/11/2026 for a 4-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,366-$2,468 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift pattern: 5x8 days. Outpatient ESRD dialysis care in a high-acuity care setting, with occasional floating to St. Albans and Berlin as needed. Public transportation is not available; reliable transportation is expected in all seasons.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct RN care during outpatient dialysis sessions for ESRD patients
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, dialysate parameters, and treatment tolerability; respond to alarms and patient concerns
- Manage venous access care, dialysis machine setup, circuit connections, and maintain sterile technique
- Document patient status, treatments, and progress in EPIC EMR; communicate with nephrology and dialysis team
- Collaborate with dialysis technicians and interdisciplinary staff; escalate issues to the physician as needed
- Educate patients on dialysis care, treatment plans, and lifestyle considerations; reinforce safety and infection control practices
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license on file at time of submission
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ability to work in an outpatient dialysis ESRD setting; flexible schedule with Saturday coverage; willingness to float to St. Albans & Berlin as needed; no-call requirement
- Reliable transportation; public transportation is not available; vehicle should be prepared for winter conditions with snow tires (Nov–Apr)
