Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of a supervising therapist as appropriate.
- Assess patient needs, participate in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, mobility, coordination, strength, and independence.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in a timely and compliant manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and standard of practice in all therapy interventions.
Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Prior experience in long-term care or SNF settings preferred.
- Able to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
