Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, GA. This assignment starts 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,678 to $1,766 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medical and surgical admissions on a fast-paced unit, including telemetry monitoring
- Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and develop and implement individualized nursing plans
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and respond to evolving clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary teams to coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions; uphold safety and infection control standards
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys verification (state-appropriate eligibility as applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg (Telemetry/admission) experience in an inpatient setting
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced admission unit
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN or BSN acceptable)
