Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications on the hall when no medication tech support is available, ensuring accuracy and safety per MAR and facility policy
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including monitoring vital signs, noticing changes in condition, and documenting assessments
- Implement and update care plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and perform routine nursing duties per facility procedures
- Maintain resident safety, infection prevention, and privacy, adhering to HIPAA and established policies
- Document nursing notes and communicate changes to supervising staff; respond to routine and emergent situations per protocol
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license to practice; state-specific requirements will be verified during onboarding
- Ability to administer medications on the hall in the absence of med tech support
- Comfort working in a long-term care environment with residents (facility notes indicate 1 to 30 residents per unit)
- Willingness to complete required training prior to floor assignment
- Availability to work a 3x12-hour daytime shift schedule; local candidates only
- Ability to work in Albuquerque, NM area in a local travel assignment
