Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists with interventional radiology procedures, providing imaging support and documentation
- Position patients, monitor status, and maintain sterile technique during procedures
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment and acquire standard radiographs as required during interventions
- Ensure high image quality, label and archival of images, and accurate procedure documentation
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and equipment safety protocols
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other technologists to maintain smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility (can apply once offered)
- 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred, with large-hospital exposure and peripheral and neurovascular experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume IR setting and perform duties safely in a 10-hour shift
