Responsibilities
- Provide direct support for interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab, including left heart catheterization, high-risk PCI, right heart catheterization, pacemaker/lead procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart interventions.
- Assist with ECMO, EKOS, and other advanced support devices as required; monitor device function and patient status during procedures.
- Prepare cath lab equipment, verify inventory, maintain sterile technique, manage contrast usage, and ensure radiation safety and readiness of all devices.
- Monitor patients intra-procedurally and post-procedurally; document hemodynamics, medications, implants, and post-procedural care needs; support efficient room turnover.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, nurses, anesthesia, and support staff to maintain patient safety and workflow; adhere to AHA BLS and cath lab protocols.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology (CVT) or radiology program.
- Certifications: ARRT or RCIS; American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab/interventional/diagnostic experience; Structural Heart and ECMO experience required.
- Skills: Proficient with cath lab imaging equipment and sterile technique; strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work in a high-acuity environment.
- Eligibility: Ability to work the listed 10-hour shift in a hospital cath lab setting and participate in a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA.
