Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
OR Nurse Manager — Operating Room in a Travel assignment located in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 04/13/2026 for a 13-week engagement with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay range: $3,547–$3,837. Shift: Day shift on a 3x12-day rotation (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Setting: a critical access facility with an active perioperative program. This leadership role reports to the Director of Surgical Services and collaborates with the Surgical Services leadership team and nursing supervisor to coordinate intraoperative nursing care for operative and invasive procedures.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate, supervise, and ensure the delivery of intraoperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures; provide direct supervision of OR staff including RNs, LPNs, Scrub Technologists, Perioperative Aides, CNAs, and unit clerks.
- Manage operational and fiscal aspects of the OR, ensuring safe patient care aligned with evidence-based practices; participate in planning and implementing improvements.
- Ensure availability of necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies; verify compliance with organizational policies, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Lead education and competency for team members; coordinate training resources and hold staff accountable for attendance and completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care, evaluate practice, and drive performance improvement initiatives; support policy and procedure updates.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC; CNOR certification.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in operating room or ambulatory surgery center settings; experience in robotics, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, ERCP, and vascular procedures.
- Certifications/Experience preferences: Previous managerial experience preferred; ION robot experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital perioperative environment and meet the demands of a 24-hour surgical services operation.
