Travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in Batesville, Arkansas. This 13-week assignment starts on 07/06/2026, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Monday–Friday shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,554 to $2,684. The role is hospital-based and requires ARDMS certification with strong echocardiography and vascular imaging experience. This is a travel temporary assignment in the Ultrasound department, with on-call duties as described below.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders, including echocardiography with Definity contrast and comprehensive vascular studies.
- Complete studies efficiently; utilize downtime to assist others and manage workload during high-volume periods.
- Ensure exam charges and the late list are checked daily; communicate pending exams and pertinent information to the team.
- Assist physicians during radiology procedures and collaborate with other technologists and departments to support patient care.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, follow sterilization and infection control policies, and keep the work area clean.
- Participate in required in-services and department meetings; adhere to attendance, dress code, and safety policies.
- Respond to on-call requests within the required timeframe and arrive in the department within 30 minutes when called in.
- Be flexible to assist with procedures in other radiology areas when needed and provide support to colleagues as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active ARDMS Certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
- 2+ years of ultrasound experience (required)
- Echo and vascular experience required, including the ability to perform echocardiograms with Definity contrast
- Proficiency in Echo and vascular studies (TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous Doppler, carotid Doppler, arterial Doppler, ABI, vein mapping)
- Ability to start IV
- MediTech EMR experience
- Geographic eligibility: permanent address not within 90 miles of Batesville; applicants within 90–150 miles may be considered but are not guaranteed
