Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job
This travel assignment is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a long-term care setting located in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Start date is March 16, 2026, for a 13-week contract with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 08:00–16:30. Weekly pay ranges from $1,649 to $1,732 per week. An increased rate applies to this assignment. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct COTA services under the supervision of an occupational therapist, implementing the plan of care and treatment strategies.
- Facilitate individual and group therapeutic activities to improve residents’ activities of daily living and functional mobility.
- Document patient progress, monitor responses to treatment, and communicate changes to the OT supervisor and care team.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and use of therapeutic equipment; ensure safety and adherence to protocols.
- Support care coordination, participate in care planning discussions, and provide education to residents and families as appropriate.
- Maintain infection control, accurate charting, and compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting
- Comfortable following an OT plan of care under supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with daytime hours
