Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 05/07/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,721 to $2,862 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (0645-1915) with one full weekend of on-call every five weeks. This position supports a large academic teaching hospital, with CVOR/Open Heart OR experience strongly preferred. Epic EMR experience within the past two years is required.

Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR for cardiovascular/open heart cases, assisting the surgeon, managing instrumentation, and maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
- Prepare the OR, position patients, and monitor intraoperative events; document intraoperative care in the Epic EMR.
- May float to other OR suites (General, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, etc); when floated, circulate rather than scrub.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, perfusion, and nursing teams to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient turnover.
- Maintain compliance with BLS and CNOR standards; uphold infection control and safety protocols throughout cases.
Requirements
- Active RN license on file at submission
- Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with recent CVOR exposure
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Prior travel experience required
- Reliable transportation to and from the assignment
