Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and monitoring of health status
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document responses, and report changes promptly
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Perform routine procedures and support activities of daily living to ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity
- Document in the electronic medical record and maintain accurate, timely communication with family, staff, and providers
- Ensure infection control practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in daily operations
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Pennsylvania (or eligible for licensure in PA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of recent RN experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN degree: ASN or BSN)
- Ability to work day and evening shifts and participate in a travel assignment, with adaptability to changing schedules
