Registered Nurse – Psychiatric, located in Zanesville, Ohio. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Administer, monitor, and document medications per orders; manage PRN and scheduled doses
- Conduct rounds, safety checks, de-escalation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team; utilize Epic EMR for workflow and Pyxis for medication dispensing
- Serve in a charge nurse role as assigned; participate in on-call coverage and respond to emergencies
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and admission/discharge processes
Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license; BLS certification required
- 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) schedule for a 13-week assignment
- Epic EMR and Pyxis competency
- Prior inpatient behavioral health experience preferred; CPI training preferred
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Ability to work 7P–7A night shifts and to fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled
