Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job
Registered Nurse – MICU in Philadelphia, PA, US. This travel assignment starts on 07/06/2026 for a 13-week duration, with a weekly pay range of $2,268 to $2,312 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is three 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in an inpatient ICU in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in MICU, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of vital signs and laboratory data.
- Manage life-sustaining therapies and devices (e.g., ventilator support, vasoactive medications) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and revise patient care plans, document care accurately, and communicate changes to bedside staff and family as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitor for adverse effects, and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Promote safety, infection control, and comfort measures; participate in early mobilization and pain management as indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case management, and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth handoffs during shift changes.
Requirements
- 2+ years ICU/MICU experience in a high-volume, high-acuity environment; travel experience strongly preferred.
- BSN required.
- Current RN license (active and in good standing); ability to practice in the listed setting.
- Every other weekend (EOW) availability as scheduled.
- RTO requests will be reviewed; must be able to complete three 12-hour night shifts per week for 13 weeks.
- Start date: 07/06/2026 (availability to begin on or near this date).
