Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers using safe techniques; position residents for comfort and safety
- Obtain, document, and report basic patient data, including vitals (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations) as directed
- Observe residents for changes in condition, pain, or distress; promptly report to licensed nursing staff
- Assist with meals and hydration support; help residents during feeding as needed
- Maintain clean, safe care environments; follow infection control practices and proper hand hygiene
- Document care activities and observations in the facility charting system; communicate effectively with the care team
Requirements
- Availability for the 18:00–06:30 shift (3x12)
- Local Albuquerque, NM area assignment only
- Ability to perform standard CNA duties in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions from licensed staff
- Willingness to work with a diverse resident population and maintain resident privacy
