Responsibilities
- Provide scrub support and assist radiologists during interventional procedures, ensuring sterile technique and efficient workflow
- Prepare and maintain the IR suite, including equipment setup, sterile trays, and supplies for multiple cases
- Operate imaging systems (Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis Zee single-plane) to acquire diagnostic and interventional images
- Monitor patient status during procedures, manage radiation safety, and document procedural details and outcomes
- Assist with vascular access, catheter placement, device deployment, and post-procedure care under direct supervision
- Collaborate with the IR team to optimize patient flow in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and support inpatient and outpatient cases
Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography certification
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license in hand for submittal
- Minimum 2 years IR experience with scrub duties; 3 years and large-hospital experience (peripheral and neurovascular) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR setting; may float to other IR areas as needed
- Education as related to radiologic technology not specified; formal education details will be verified during credentialing
