This travel assignment requires a licensed RN prepared to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR setting. The role supports patient and family needs through collaboration with the surgical team, careful assessment, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.

Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room, including preoperative and postoperative assessment, monitoring, and recovery support.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient case flow.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines and evidence-based practices.
- Triage and respond to changes in patient status, coordinating with the broader care team to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about the care plan, postoperative instructions, and wound care; uphold HIPAA and participate in a Just Culture environment.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or another compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Ability to work in an operating room/perioperative setting within a short-term acute care environment
- HIPAA compliance and professional conduct aligned with patient-centered care
