Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and select pediatric-adult patients on a telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status.
- Administer medications, interpret telemetry findings, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; document in the electronic health record.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards; perform ongoing assessment and timely escalation as needed.
- Float to related units or overflow areas as needed to meet patient care demands, with appropriate orientation and supervision.
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation, admissions/discharges, and care plans in accordance with hospital policies.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Kansas RN license; BLS certification
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Experience: 1+ year(s) of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Certifications: Kansas RN license and BLS required
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring, ECG interpretation, medication administration, patient safety, teamwork
- Other: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekend coverage (Fri–Sun required), and to float as needed; able to complete credentialing processes within required timelines
