Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist, Radiology — Rochester, NY. Travel assignment starts 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,708–$2,946. Shifts are 12-hour, with on-call responsibilities as needed. The role is in a hospital-based imaging service setting; this assignment operates as a travel - temporary position. On-call requirements include 2–3 shifts per month; Friday–Saturday night coverage (7:00 pm–7:30 am EST) may occur during holidays or as unit needs dictate.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification; adhere to department safety policies before initiating scans
- Coordinate with physicians to deliver diagnostic imaging; prepare patients and explain procedures to promote comfort
- Position patients and assist with transfers; perform CT procedures with safe patient handling practices
- Insert IVs when necessary; monitor patients and respond to needs during scanning
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC; ensure images are correctly sent to the PACS after exam completion
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and comply with infection control standards
Requirements
- Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license with injection therapy certification (must be listed on license at submission) and ability to obtain prior to starting
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Telemetry experience required; injection capabilities for contrast as needed
- Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment preferred; Epic experience highly desired
