Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adults and geriatrics on the medical-surgical unit, including post-operative and acute care needs.
- Monitor telemetry, administer medications and IV therapies, perform phlebotomy, and manage IV/PICC/central lines.
- Support airway management with nasal cannula, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, non-invasive ventilation, and tracheostomy care as needed.
- Conduct wound care (including wound VAC and surgical drains), postoperative care, and coordination of pre/post-hemodialysis for renal-related conditions.
- Interpret ABGs, manage oxygen delivery and PCA, administer blood products, and respond to clinical changes; participate in Rapid Response/Code events; ensure isolation precautions and accurate Epic charting.
- May float to related units if competencies are met; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Services, Radiology) to support patient care.

Requirements
- License: Active RN license in Idaho or a compact state, must be in hand at submittal.
- Certifications: BLS required.
- Experience: Travel experience required; clinical experience of 2 years preferred; Trauma Level II experience preferred.
- Education: RN education required (as applicable to licensure); ability to work in a hospital med-surg setting.
- Onboarding: core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Other: Ability to work nights; competence to work on a med-surg unit with telemetry; Epic charting proficiency.
