Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cath lab during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for adult and pediatric patients; monitor hemodynamics, respond to changes, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure
- Prepare and assist with cath lab room setup, equipment handling, and sterile technique; support vascular access, device deployment, and post-procedure care
- Administer moderate sedation per protocol under physician supervision; monitor patient response and airway status; manage emergent events as they arise
- Support EP and interventional workflows, including assistance with devices and procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip when applicable; assist with CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, and other structural/interventional interventions
- Maintain telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition; document findings in the electronic medical record and ensure accurate handoffs to the care team

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (NY RN)
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience with proficiency in right and left heart hemodynamics and interventional procedures
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA); Moderate Sedation trained; telemetry competency
- Experience with cardiovascular interventions and devices, including TAVR, Microclip, Watchman; familiarity with structural heart procedures and vascular interventions
- Knowledge of mechanical circulatory support devices (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD) and critical care or cardiac-critical care background; EP lab exposure and cardiovascular certification (RCES) preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient/outpatient cath lab setting; availability for weekends/holidays/on-call as required
