Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the nursing plan and physician orders
- Monitor resident conditions, perform routine assessments, and document findings in medical records
- Provide bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nourishment
- Implement care plans in collaboration with the RN and interdisciplinary team
- Report changes in patient status promptly and respond to urgent situations as per facility policy
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and accurate documentation for each resident
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Pennsylvania
- Ability to work the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Willingness to fulfill the 5x8 night shift schedule including every other weekend
- Experience in long-term care or a similar setting preferred
- Eligible for a six-week travel assignment and able to travel to the assignment location as scheduled
