Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adolescents with behavioral health needs in an inpatient setting
- Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, and document care in the electronic medical record
- Apply crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques; maintain unit safety and patient well-being
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and case management to develop and implement care plans
- Document all clinical activities, follow policies, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance
- Participate in rounds, care planning, and responsive care for acutely ill patients during night shifts
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state at time of submission
- NURSYS license verification with active RN licenses
- Current certifications: BLS and CPI or MOAB
- Minimum 2 years of experience in adolescent behavioral health inpatient or a closely related setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient environment; may be required to float to affiliated sites within the region
- EMR experience; Cerner experience is preferred but not required
