Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU in Cumming, GA. This 13-week travel assignment starts 06/15/2026 in a Progressive Care Unit within a hospital setting. The role offers a weekly pay range of $1,636 to $1,717 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 12x3 schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for PCU patients, including frequent assessments and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per physician orders; monitor telemetry as indicated.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized care plans.
- Document care in the electronic health record with accurate, timely charting; communicate patient status to the care team.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, implement appropriate interventions, and participate in escalation as needed.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning; coordinate disposition when appropriate.
Requirements
- Min 2 years of recent experience within the PCU specialty.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 12x3 schedule.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Adaptability to a high-acuity progressive care environment.
