Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the direction of licensed physical therapists, including exercise programs, therapeutic massage, gait and balance training, and other modalities.
- Record patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate results to the supervising PT.
- Assist with implementing and adjusting treatment plans within approved protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Support patient safety during therapy sessions, including positioning, transfers, and mobility activities.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and care team to coordinate therapy goals and contribute to discharge planning and outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license or compact license required
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Available for a full-time travel assignment with guaranteed hours
