Responsibilities
- Provide LPN-level nursing care in the ED, including IV therapy per certification
- Monitor patient status, document assessments, vitals, and responses to therapies
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies within the scope of practice and ED protocols
- Collaborate with ED physicians and nurses to support efficient patient flow, triage, and discharge planning
- May be cross-trained to float to the LTC side as needed; maintain accurate charting and clear handoffs
- OT billing: OT isn’t billable until after hour 48
Requirements
- Current Wyoming Licensed Practical Nurse license
- IV certification required
- ED or acute care experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in an ED environment and, if needed, float to LTC
- Eligible to work in the United States
