Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job
Registered Nurse – NICU travel assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Start date 04/13/2026 for 26 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,080–$2,226. Guaranteed hours: 12 per week. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Setting: hospital. Program: Local Contract (Nursing). This assignment begins PRN with one shift per month and will adjust as seasonal demand increases.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based NICU nursing care to neonates, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and skilled bedside care
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered, document appropriately, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary neonatal team (physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff) and communicate with families about care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, participate in rounds, and adjust plans of care as needed
- Monitor equipment and neonatal status, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement advanced life-support interventions per protocol
- Uphold infection control practices, safety standards, and family-centered care in a high-acuity setting
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific licensure required for assignment)
- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
- BLS certification; NICU-specific credentials or NICU experience preferred
- NICU experience preferred; 1 year recommended for travel assignments
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts
- Capacity to work in a hospital/NICU environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting
