Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in the OR specialty. The role covers intraoperative patient care and operating room support across inpatient and outpatient surgical services. Assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting 04/27/2026, with a 40-hour workweek on days scheduled as 4x10-hour shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,468 to $2,517 per week. This position focuses on intraoperative care and does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre-op holding, or central sterile duties.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative patient care during surgical procedures and assist the surgical team as needed
- Maintain a sterile field, prepare the operating room, and manage instrument counts and specimen handling
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team and support scrub and circulating roles
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to changes, and communicate with the anesthesia team
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, assist with positioning, and uphold aseptic technique and safety protocols
- Help with turnover and readiness of the OR between cases and participate in post-procedure documentation as required
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work in an operating room environment on a travel assignment
- Availability for 4x10-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and high clinical standards
- Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment
