MRI Technologist – Travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Specialty: MRI. Start date 04/13/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,997–$2,155 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts with additional weekend on-call coverage. This travel assignment is conducted in a Short Term Acute Care setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Properly position patients, select appropriate coils, and optimize imaging parameters to achieve diagnostic-quality studies.
- Operate MRI equipment and software, adjust sequences, and maintain image quality with attention to safety protocols.
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications, monitor for adverse effects, and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- Administer contrast material per protocol when required, monitor for reactions, and document administration details.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging team members; assist with workflow coordination and timely image delivery; maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) MRI license required.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of MRI work experience.
- Ability to work in a hospital-based setting with a willingness to participate in on-call weekend coverage.
- Effective communication and patient care skills relevant to MRI procedures.
