Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date: August 7, 2026. This travel temporary assignment runs for 6 weeks with guaranteed hours and a weekly pay range of $782 to $826. Shift is 3 x 12-hour nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities
- Administer routine nursing care and medications under the direction of an RN.
- Monitor residents’ condition, document vital signs, and report changes promptly.
- Assist with activities of daily living, wound care, catheter care, and sample collection as directed.
- Adhere to care plans, policies, and safety procedures; monitor for safety risks and prevent falls.
- Document in the charting system and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with the charge nurse to support care coordination and timely responses to resident needs.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and meet guaranteed hours (36 per week).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to follow care plans and policies.
- Local candidate status per job notes.
