Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment following prescribed techniques for diagnostic imaging.
- Obtain intravenous access and administer iodinated contrast; monitor patient responses.
- Prioritize and organize daily imaging workflow to meet exam turnaround times.
- Operate CT equipment (GE scanner preferred) and document procedures in the EPIC EMR.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, position patients, and communicate results per department protocol.
- Collaborate with radiology team and adhere to department safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Current New York State license (Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 1 year CT experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- CT contrast injection experience required
- GE scanner experience preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule
- 14-panel drug screen to be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront
- Onboarding requires completion of Verbal De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS)
- RTO requests must be noted at submission; no post-upload approvals; maximum 5 days
