Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI examinations across various body regions following established protocols and orders
- Prepare and properly position patients, select appropriate coils, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality imaging
- Administer IV contrast as required, monitor for adverse reactions, and document administration per protocol
- Operate MRI equipment (e.g., GE Optima 450w) and related imaging modalities; participate in cross-training as needed (CT/X-ray)
- Document studies in the EPIC EMR, label and archive images accurately, and communicate findings with radiologists
- Collaborate with the radiology team, maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and respond to urgent imaging requests during on-call shifts

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification (or equivalent; MRI Certification Verification acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Teaching facility experience required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- CT/X-ray trained and able to float to related radiology areas as needed
- Current license on file at time of submission
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology department and participate in on-call and weekend coverage
