Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care, Vandalia, IL. This travel assignment starts 05/25/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and earn $1,440-$1,515 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision and document in the medical record
- Assist providers with exams, treatments, and procedures; support patient care activities
- Conduct patient calls regarding test results and follow-up care as instructed by the provider
- Collect pertinent data, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and coordinate follow-up care (scheduling tests and referrals as ordered)
- Perform and document basic laboratory duties including phlebotomy and waived testing where permitted
- Submit prescriptions and refills to the pharmacy timely; educate patients and families about the plan of care
Requirements
- Active Illinois LPN license (Nursys) – REQUIRED
- Active American Heart Association BLS – REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years LPN experience – REQUIRED
- Experience in a Doctor's Office – Highly preferred
- Non-local candidate: residency >50 miles from Vandalia, IL – REQUIRED
- Two supervisory reference forms with dates employed listed – REQUIRED
- Current skills checklist (within 1 year) relevant to the LPN role – REQUIRED
