Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and general patient status; communicate changes promptly to the Nursing team.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, turning, and safe transfers; help with range-of-motion exercises as directed.
- Support care planning by observing patient conditions, reporting concerns, and following infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with routine procedures and tasks ( specimen collection as trained, linen changes, ambulation aids) to support efficient unit operations.
- Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach while on night shifts and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements
- Current CNA certification (CNA) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or HS-BLS or RQIBLS certification required
- Willingness to work nights in a medical-surgical/short-term acute care setting
- Location requirement: current eligibility to work in Portland, Oregon
- Start date: 03/30/2026
- Previous med-surg CNA experience is helpful but not specified as mandatory
