Responsibilities
- Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases, including CABG, structural heart procedures, and minimally invasive operations
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients across the adult cardiac population, prioritizing patient safety and sterile technique
- Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia providers, and other OR team members to coordinate efficient, high-quality care
- Monitor patients intraoperatively using telemetry as indicated and document perioperative events, vital signs, and interventions
- Support patients and families, explain procedures, and advocate for patient preferences and needs throughout the surgical process

Requirements
- Current New York RN license (active)
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications
- Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience, with strong preference for level 1 trauma OR exposure
- Ability to independently scrub and circulate in cardiac OR cases
- Telemetry experience or competency
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and perform duties in a fast-paced surgical environment
