Travel - Temporary Assignment
Start date: 09/21/2026 | Duration: 16 weeks | Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), typically 7 on/7 off with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed
Weekly pay: $2,517–$2,537 | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital ED with multiple areas, including Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ED setting, rotating across Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit
- Perform initial triage, rapid assessments, monitoring, and ongoing patient reassessment; administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans; document clinical observations and interventions in the electronic medical record
- Support triage, quick registration, Covid testing/triage tents, and entry screening; participate in daily throughput to optimize patient flow
- Provide bedside care and appropriate support when rotating to other departments as needed; assist with Covid testing and/or immunization clinics as required
- Respond to critical events and codes; ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards are maintained during all assignments

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum two (2) years of recent RN experience in Emergency Department or equivalent fast-paced ED setting
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS; ACLS; PALS or ENPC; TNCC; conscious sedation certification (facility-provided after confirmation—with a $105 fee)
- Ability to rotate through ED areas and to float to other departments as needed; comfort with variable shifts and patient volumes
- Eligible to work in a hospital ED environment and meet facility credentialing requirements
