Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist – Radiology role in Rochester, NY. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range $2,715 to $2,877 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts (4 days per week) with on-call requirements. This travel assignment requires NYS licensure, ARRT certification, and relevant CT experience.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department policy for patient safety
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and assist with IV insertion when necessary
- Position patients and provide safe patient handling, including assistance with limited mobility
- Perform CT imaging per protocol, monitor patient status, and apply appropriate safety measures; operate Philips or Siemens CT systems as required
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, ensure images are correctly archived to PACS, and verify proper ordering and labeling
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning area and comply with infection control and radiation safety standards
Requirements
- NYS licensure to practice radiologic technology (must obtain prior to starting)
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification in Radiography with ongoing credential maintenance; CT registration strongly preferred
- Injection therapy certification stated on NYS license at time of submission; willingness to complete during orientation if not already held
- Minimum 2 years CT experience; Level I Trauma Center experience; Telemetry experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Siemens CT scanner experience required (minimum 6 months); Philips equipment knowledge preferred; Epic experience highly desired
