Travel Surgical Tech Job
Travel Surgical Tech in an operating room environment in Norman, Oklahoma. Start date: May 18, 2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,280–$2,469. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (10-hour days). This role involves perioperative care in a clinical OR setting with on-call responsibilities: 15 on-call shifts per month and two full weekends of call.

Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures in the OR
- Maintain a safe, aseptic environment and adhere to sterile technique
- Prepare, pass, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative tasks as directed
- Perform instrument counts and support instrument turnover to maintain workflow
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to support patient safety and surgical efficiency
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Surgical Technology program, or five consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech
- CVOR experience required
- LPN with one year of surgical tech experience preferred
- BLS certification required; NBSTSA certification preferred
- Two supervisory references from the past 12 months
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and comply with safety and infection control standards
