Responsibilities
- Function under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager; provide safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing all department exams according to procedures.
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients for procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Independently perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the use of equipment for diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Perform procedures in the IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings as required.
- Ensure imaging studies are performed safely and provide accurate, timely results in alignment with department protocols.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform imaging procedures in interventional settings per department procedures.
- Proficient in setting up equipment and positioning patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Commitment to providing safe, age-appropriate patient care in a fast-paced interventional environment.
- Ability to work across IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings as needed.
- Flexibility to fulfill the specified shift schedule and travel assignment duration.
